Nov 6, 2012 — Austin, Texas — LightArrow, Inc. has released a major update of its popular LifeTopix personal organization app for the Apple iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. The latest LifeTopix update includes new customizable to-do list functionality, integration with the iOS Reminders app, calendar enhancements, and several usability improvements. The 5.1 release reinforces the company’s mission to help users use mobile technology to be more efficient and productive. Moreover, LifeTopix continues to be one of the most affordable ways for users to use multiple iOS devices to organize all their life information.
Stressing the importance of customizable to-do lists as first and foremost for users, users can now choose, view, and create to-do lists directly from the What’s Next section of the LifeTopix Home view, as well as mark existing checklists to be available on-demand as to-do lists in the What’s Next view. These lists work like regular checklists, allowing users to add and reorder checklist items and mark them as complete. To-do lists can be associated with the built-in topics, such as projects or events. They also can be shared via Facebook, Twitter, email, or text message for collaboration purposes.
“We are constantly innovating, inspired by users who want to accomplish a lot more with their productivity app than simply managing a cute list of tasks,” said Adi Mishra, CEO of LightArrow. “For example, the customized to-do lists feature is entirely driven by users who want to easily juggle multiple lists of things to do, bringing them into focus on demand, as needed. There is no reason to jam custom to-do lists like Morning Routine, Packing for Trip, Evening Baby Care, etc. into a single list. That’s what the overly simplistic list apps force you to do.”
For iOS 6 users, LifeTopix now integrates with the iOS Reminders app, which allows LifeTopix users to interact with reminders created through the Reminders app and Siri. Users can open the Reminders app directly from LifeTopix to edit their reminders or to mark them as complete. Users also can create new entries in the Reminders app from the LifeTopix Events topic. This feature gives LifeTopix users more flexibility, allowing them to create reminders via LifeTopix, Siri, or directly from their Reminders app.
LifeTopix greatly enhances users’ capabilities for getting things done with new calendar and notification enhancements. The LifeTopix calendar includes a new, improved look and feel for better visibility of calendar items. A new Week view is included, supplementing the standard Day, Month, and Year views. As an enhancement to the Finances topic, users can now see bill payment amounts on LifeTopix calendar views — helping users better organize their finances.
A top productivity app for iOS devices, LifeTopix continues to deliver native support for managing tasks and projects; tracking services and the people who provide them; maintaining shopping lists; tracking events; coordinating travel and leisure activities; logging health metrics; tracking finances and personal possessions; managing photos, videos & audio clips; accessing online file services; and more.
Pricing and Availability
LifeTopix 5.1 is available immediately from the Apple App Store as a free update for anyone with previous LifeTopix versions. For new users, LifeTopix 5.1 is available for a limited time at a special price of 99 cents. As a universal app, a single purchase entitles the buyer to use this top productivity app on their iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Suzy
Oh okay thanks! I’ll try adding a checklist to the note. I don’t mind using tasks as “to do lists” but even when I hit “date” (as opposed to “date and time”) a time still comes up (usually the time I’m posting it) and I don’t want my tasks to disappear once that time comes.…I want them visible for the entire day. Is that a bug that needs to be fixed? I’m new to this app so I apologize for the second question.
LifeTopix Support
Hi Suzy,
We are more than happy to answer your questions.
You are correct in stating that you cannot set the date of a task without also setting a time as well. This is working as designed but we do plan to add date only support in the future.
Tasks will still be visible on a given date even if the time is set to the past.
For example in the “Today” section of the “Home” dashboard view you will see all tasks with due dates set for today even if their times are earlier in the day.
Best regards,
Team LightArrow

Hi! How can I integrate a to do list with a date on the calendar? I want to have a running checklist of things to do on a certain date without specific times or reminders…thanks!
LifeTopix Support
Hi Suzy,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.
Currently only tasks, shopping lists, notes, and bills have due dates in LifeTopix. We do plan to support due dates for checklists (which are used as to do lists) in the future.
In the mean time to help solve your problem you might consider creating a note and assigning the date to it. You can then add the checklist to that note.
Best regards,
Team LightArrow
