NOTE: This help page applies to both LifeTopix (and other classic LightArrow apps) as well as to LightArrow Organizer for iOS and Mac. So, the screenshots and directions may vary slightly based on the app you’re using.

Our Inboxes view is designed for viewing and harvesting information from Emails, Twitter, Facebook, and the Web.

This help page shows you how to harvest information from your emails.

1. Setup Email Feed

Go to Inboxes view > Feed Accounts > Add Email Account:

After the email inbox account is successfully saved, a default email inbox feed is added for that account. It shows up as a tile in the Inboxes view as shown below.

2. View Emails:

3. You can save attachments from an email to any of the following locations:

  • A local “My Documents” folder
  • An Online folder (Dropbox/Box/SkyDrive/GDrive)

4. You can convert the email to any of the types – Task, Project, Product, Appointment, Note, Trip, Visitor, or Inbox Item.

If there are any URLs in the email body, those URLs will be converted to bookmark objects (with a confirmation dialog that gives an option to choose the URLs to be converted) and associated with the converted topic object.

You can also convert an email to Evernote or Toodledo notes (if logged in to Evernote / Toodledo).
