NOTE: This help page applies to both LifeTopix (and other classic LightArrow apps) as well as to LightArrow Organizer for iOS and Mac. So, the screenshots and directions may vary slightly based on the app you’re using.

We support multiple ways to adding contacts in our app:
1. Quick add contacts using the global quick add (blue plus) button.
2. Add a contact from within the contact group details
3. Import a contact from iOS contacts
4. Import the contacts from a CSV file
5. Customize the quick add to directly add a contact in to a contact group
6. Convert the senders and optionally other recipients of an email feed item to contacts

1. Add contacts using global quick add:

3. Import a contact from iOS contacts

In order to access iOS contacts from our iOS app, you’ll need to make sure that under your device’s Settings app under Privacy, you have given our app access to Contacts.

Our app lets you use iOS Contacts as needed from several places – assigning them to be task owners, trip companions, event invitees, etc.
When you do that, they are also added as a Contact in our app, that is directly linked to the original iOS contact, with all contact information accessible with a tap.

Open a task detail view and scroll down to the Owners tile.

The selected iOS contacts are also added as contacts in the LightArrow iOS app and are linked to the iOS Contacts and then added as Owners to this Task.

Also, in the Contacts + Services topic, you can manually add a new Contact with the option to directly import it from iOS Contacts.

You can create contacts in our app and later associate them with an existing iOS Contacts as well.

4. Import the contacts from a CSV file

If you have the Pro Contacts Pack (for LifeTopix app), you can import the contacts from a CSV file of contacts from other apps into our app.
The CSV import is explained in detail here (scroll down to the section, “Importing multiple contacts from a .CSV file”): http://lightarrow.com/support/productivity-portal/help/contacts

5. Customize the quick add to directly add a contact in to a contact group
You can also customize the quick add to add new contacts directly to contact groups as follows:

This will create a quick add option to create a new “Prospect”. This essentially is a quick way to create a new contact and add to the contact groups.

The above screenshot shows that there is now a quick way (using the new quick add option, “Prospects”) to add your “Prospects” (New Contact that is automatically added to “Prospects” contact group).
6. Convert the senders and optionally other recipients of an email feed item to contacts
