NOTE: This help page applies to both LifeTopix (and other classic LightArrow apps) as well as to LightArrow Organizer for iOS and Mac. So, the screenshots and directions may vary slightly based on the app you’re using.

1. From the dashboard view scroll down until you see the “Assets, Finances & Shopping” card, and then tap the “Bank Accounts” tile. The “Bank Accounts” view displays all the accounts that have been created in the LightArrow app. From the “Bank Accounts” view you can add, open, and delete accounts.

2. From the “Bank Accounts” view to create a new account tap the ‘+’ button. In the “New Account” view enter a name for the account.

Then tap the blue button “Create and Add More Data”.

Next tap the “Bank” field and change to “My Bank”, and then you’ll notice there will be more fields available than when the account is just a “Cash” account.

Now enter your information in the rest of the fields. Then tap the “Save” button.

3. The “Account” view has sensitive information, to set up a pin see the help page “How do I enable passcode and password?”.

If you do not have the PIN setup, you’ll see this prompt.

4. Next, to track transaction with the account that was just created you can tap the “Transactions” field in the “Bank Account” view, or tap the “Transactions” button after tapping a bank account from the “Bank Accounts” view.

The “Initial/Adjusted Balance” is a field from the “Bank Account” view.

Next, tap the ‘+’ button to add a new transaction. These are all the different types of transactions that can be added. In this example I tapped the “Deposit” option.

For the “Deposit” transaction enter the “From” field and the “Amount”. Then tap the “Save” button.

After saving you’ll see the newly added transaction. Also, you’ll see the “Current Balance” has changed and reflects the transaction. Repeat this process to create transactions as they occur for this account.Note: For any transaction that occurs before the “Initial/Adjusted Balance” date or transactions that occur in the future they will not be computed against the “Current Balance”.

5. When you add an expense in the LightArrow app and set the “Source” field a transaction will be created for the account when the expense is saved.
