LifeTopix currently only runs on iOS (iPad, iPhone and iPod touch). LifeTopix AirAccess runs on the Mac. AirAccess is acts as a client to LifeTopix running on the iOS device for easier data entry from the Mac.

Our plan is to support LifeTopix on Windows, Mac and Android. We have not made enough progress to identify specific timeframes for support on these platforms, but we have begun the technical assessment and actual work for this. As we make more progress, we plan to update our roadmap page with more specific information.

    hi,

following your comments, the android app should have been finished by 2015. I still cant find it, are you still working on it? would love to use the app in android… kind of desparate to get my hands on this.

is the project still on? or have you decided not to go with Android market?

    thanks,
    srzn

      Hi Srzn,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

Our apps currently only run on Apple devices (iPhones and iPads), and for the desktop, we have a Mac version coming next month.

We also plan to support Windows desktops and Android based phones in the future. But, we do not have definite timelines yet.

Hey. I’ve been a loyal user for going on about a year and a half with Lifetopix. I understand that delays happen with development, but what’s holding up the Android version of the app? Are you waiting on redoing the engine? Not enough developers? When are we going to get an update of real meat on the Android version? As a consumer, my faith in the brand gets shaken when timelines are promised, then moved without explanation. :/

I’m really wishing you guys the best, but I’m at the point where I’d tell people “don’t hold your breath” for the Android version.

      Hi Keanna,
Thank you for reaching out. Being a loyal user, you and others deserve a more complete view into what is going on. You are right – we have moved our tentative dates for Android several times. After being completely focussed on iOS only, we were making progress on Windows and Android last year. However, our primarily iOS user base raised the importance and priority of a full Mac version, Pro Contacts (CRM features), Pro Inbox (easily harvesting info from Email and social), and better Calendar features. Being a small team (all in Austin, Texas), we chose not to handle too many platforms at the same time as moving our highest priorities forward. We delivered on those priorities, and have been exclusively focussed on the Mac version for the last several months. We continued to update our Roadmap page with our adjusted priorities, which are mainly driven by our user base.
We are truly sorry regarding Android support being delayed as a result. You are not alone – we have disappointed several folks who have asked for our app on Android. It is always tough for us in having to delay or even say no to certain things along the way. We had made significant progress on Windows and Android, and you are correct – it is a significant rewrite of our app engine for each platform since as you know we are a broadly powerful and involved app with truly business class features and benefits, not just a simple list app. That progress continues to give us the hope to get it completed within a few months when we get focus back on it. Our hope is still late 2015, but we cannot give a guarantee, as we leave a lot of our priorities open to be driven by our fast growing “business owner” user base. We hope you have noticed the progress we have made across all other fronts.
We can set up a call with you and go over things, and if you want that, kindly email us at support@lightarrow.com.

      Best regards,

      Hi Carlos,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

We are currently working on a Mac OSX App (and subsequently will work on a Windows App) that can also sync to the same folder. This allows you to use the same online folder for all of your devices and get the same functionality.

Here is information about the different operating systems we are targeting.

LightArrow for Mac: Work in progress for improving AirAccess and full app support for macs – first release Fall 2014.
LightArrow for Windows: Work in progress for full app support for Windows 8.1 PC/tablets – Spring 2015
LightArrow for Android: No specific timeframe yet – sometime in 2015

Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions or comments.

Any updates on having the capability to add info with a web based version? The computers are completely locked down? And these are windoze machines anyway (sadly)

I would love to be able to add/update lifetopix via the web instead of trying to use the keyboard on my cell. Thanks.

Is this going to be a metro app because personally they are kind of useless and rarely used or will this be a full fledge windows application? I realize your team has limited resources but coming from a productivity and organization nut this is the best of the best. Take the time to work on getting this on other platforms your customers will support you.

      Hi Ann,
Thanks for using LifeTopix! We are constantly striving to make it easier to use without compromising its power.
All date relevant items in LifeTopix (tasks, projects, trips, events, etc.) can be automatically saved to your device calendar of choice – you select which calendar to write to from LifeTopix Settings view > My Settings view.

I think this may be the default universal productivity tool soon! But it absolutely MUST support Windows for that!!! I look forward to the day when I can remove apps like Wunderlist (not exciting by comparison, but totally multi-platform thus the “default” solution bar none and extremely popular). IMHO nothing could be more important than universal compatibility! Once you do this I’m all in! Keep us updated on the Windows thing, holding my breath!!! -LB-
