Known Issues

NOTE: If iCloud Drive is enabled in any of the devices with the iOS 8 update, our apps will not support iCloud Sync. We recommend using our Dropbox or Box options until we support iCloud Drive in a future update.

Release 8.2 of LifeTopix (available Oct 15) has the following reported known issues to be fixed soon:

  • On iPads running iOS 7: In Landscape mode, Quick Add popup flies off the screen, Please portrait mode for adding items. This will be fixed asap.

    Please help me!

    I have just upgraded to new version (3.2) of My.Agenda Life Topix Pack and I can’t add anything any more! Neither projects, nor appointments, events, tasks, checklists… In any view, when I tap the “plus icon” and choose the element I want to insert, the usual small window appears for a moment, then immediately flies upwards… And the app crashes. I can only update old elements.
    I hope you will be able to solve the issue in … a very very short time!

      Our apologies! We believe this issue affects users with iPads running iOS 7, but only in Landscape mode. If you rotate to Portrait, it should work. We will fix this asap, and we apologize for the temporary inconvenience.

        I can’t believe I didn’t try to rotate my iPad! I think I was panicking (my entire life is stored in My.Agenda)! Hope this messages will be useful to someone who finds the same issue…
        And, of course, I hope you will never forget us, poor iOS7 users. My iPad is quite old, and I don’t really want to try iOS8…

    I am trying to switch the default calendar from iOS calendar that comes built in with my iPad to my gmail calendar. I have selected and saved it repeatedly. It is showing up as the selected calendar. However, the data reflected in LifeTopix is still from the iOS calendar. I selected my gmail calendar on both my iPhone and my iPad mini. It is showing up as the selected calendar both places but still getting the iOS data. I would appreciate any guidance you could offer. Thank you.

      Thank you for reaching out to us.

      Whenever you change your default Calendar in “My Settings”,
      1. Any new items created will be created on the new default Calendar.
      2. If you open and save any existing Calendar items, they will be removed from the old Calendar and saved to the new default Calendar.

      If you do not want to see the items from your old Calendars, you can always turn them off using the filter icon at the top-right corner in the Calendar views.

    Hello

    I just started using the app and it cool so far. I am trying to create a locker but it keeps telling me to create a pin. I created a pin for the app and for my phone and it still keeps telling me to create one. What am I missing ?

      Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.

      The PIN the locker is referring to can be set by going to the “Settings” view (accessible from the left navigation menu in the dashboard view) then tapping on “Secure Your Data”. From this view you can enter you PIN under the “Key (PIN)” field.

    Hi,

    I have just noticed that since the last update today, there seem to be no visualisations in the Plot/Line/Bar views in Log Forms (while in single Log items these visualisations are still there.) In the Log Forms, the dates on the x-axis also seem screwed up – in all of my Log Forms they currently range from 11.7.14 to 22.7.14 (so many of them are from the future) and there are many double dates on the axis.

    I hope this will be fixed in a future update.

    I would also like to suggest, that in Log Forms where one logs different log items that all use the same metric (e.g. minutes per day), that these different curves in the visualisations should be displayed in absolute proportion to one another. Up til now the single log items in the log forms were only displayed relative to their own range of logged values.
    For example, if you have a log form that combines the log itmes Running per day and Cycling per day – and you normally run between 60 and 90 minutes per day, but cycle between 30 and 300 minutes per day, the visualisations in the combined Log Form appear as if you run more than cycle, because the highest logged values (90 for running and 300 for cycling) are displayed at the same hight at the y-axis. It would make it easier to track different Log items “of the same kind”, if they could be displayed with a common y-axis that shows their absolute values in relation to one another.

      Thanks for reaching out to us! We seem to have recently broken the graphing for forms. We’ll include a fix for this on our 8.1.2 update targeted for late next week. Our apologies.

      We agree with the scenario for maintaining consistent scale when all items have the same unit. We’ll fix that in our 8.2 update targeted for September. Great suggestion!

    Just started using the latest release and when I enter an appointment it shows up in the Agenda page list of upcoming events, but does not appear in the calendar.
    I’ve probably got a setting wrong but can’t figure out what it is.

      Thanks for reaching out to us! Typically this happens because the filter for the Agenda and Calendar are different. On the Calendar view when Day, Week, Month, or Year is selected can you please verify that Appointments is checked for the filter? You can do this by tapping the filter button in the upper right hand corner.

    Can you tell me why completed tasks do not show as completed (stricken through) when viewing the calendar by DAY and filtering by due date only. There does appear to be a toggle that will display a daily tasks list with due time indicator arrows (but not a true calendar view) and completion status; however, that completion status for each task is just not available in the true daily calendar view. Any plans to chang this so that task completion status shows regardless of how you view them?

      Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us.

      We appreciate you pointing this out to us and we will correct this oversight immediately. From our Agenda, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly views we do in fact show completed items (including tasks) with a strikethrough as well as display the task status icon. In the Daily view, by tapping on the layout toggle button you can see your daily view in two differently layouts. In one layout we display the daily view with lines spanning the from left to right for each hour of the day and items are placed in their corresponding time slots. This view currently does not show completed items with a strikethrough nor the task status icon. In the other layout (which can be toggled) we list out the items for the day and then point to their corresponding time slots. This view does currently support displaying completed items with a strikethrough as well as displays the task status icon.

      We apologize for this oversight.

    Hi,
    Just started using the tool and really like it. I have one question on the calendar. The calendar view seems to scroll to the first item and stays there so i have to scroll down to see the later events. I would have expected the app the scroll down automatically based on the current time and show me the upcoming and future items. How did i set that up?

      Currently, the calendar view will only scroll to the first item of the day. We’ll add the scroll to current item feature in our next update (8.1) targeting early June.

    Hi,

    I just purchased LifeTopix and am enjoying the app so far. However, when I try to add a photo in Media, it launches the camera briefly and then crashes LifeTopix.

    Any suggestions? I’m using an iPod Touch 5th gen with current IOS.

      We apologize for the defect that you’re encountering. The defect has been fixed in our next update (8.1) targeted for early June.
      In the mean time, you can use the Quick Add button located on the bottom left corner when you’re in any topic view, such as Home, My Topics, etc., to add new Photo.
