I purchased Notes+ File Topics, Tasks + Projects and Sync + Share. Installed them on my iPad but I don’t see them on my iPhone 4S. Can you tell me why that so . I’m under impression all your purchases will be for all your devices.
Thank you.
LightArrow
Hi Getachew,
If you are logged in as the same iTunes user on the iPhone, you can go to My.Agenda Settings view, go to In App Purchases, and tap on Restore All Purchases at the top. That should restore all the ones you already bought from the iPad. Please let us know if you need any assistance.

I have repeating reminders in the apple Reminders app. But when importing into Lifetopix the date shown is the first of the repeating dates (I.e., months ago) rather than the next date that the reminder is to come up. That doesn’t help me! Any chance you already know about this problem and
Have it in your radar already? Thanks!

Hi Hank,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.
We are looking into the issue and have a few of questions for you. What is the date of the reminder in the Reminders App that corresponds to the one in LifeTopix (that you are referring to)? Does it have a more recent date? What is the status of that reminder in the Reminders App? Is it completed?
Best regards,
Team LightArrow

I have 3 reminders in the Apple Reminders app that are repeating. One of them, for example, is “Pick up Olivia and Lyra (Fri)” with a date of “1/18/13 12:15 pm, Weekly” [end repeat=never] and it is in the Reminders folder, not the completed folder. In LifeTopix it shows up in the Overdue Items alert folder with a date of 1/18/13, and does NOT show up in the Next 7 days list.
LifeTopix Support
Hi Hank,
Our understanding of the way repeat reminders in the Reminders App works is that a the next instance of the reminder will not be created until the previous one is marked completed. Do you mind marking the older ones in the Reminders App completed and see if more recent ones shows up in LifeTopix?

I did get this to work. It wasn’t sufficient to simply mark the past event as completed (i.e., by checking the box next to it). If I just did that, nothing changed. But when I backed out of the Reminders folder using the list icon in the upper left of that application, and then again selected the Reminders folder, then the date of the event was updated from last January to the next occurring date in the future (i.e., this coming Friday) and then the event did appear in LifeTopix. So you are correct about the Reminders app. That app always worked for me because even though the date shown was never updated, it always gave me an audible notification at the next occurrence of the event without ever having to open the Reminders app itself. So now, to make its events show in LifeTopix, I will have to remember to open Reminders and check “completed” instances. I see this as a bug in Reminders [it certainly doesn’t make it seamless to use!], and I suppose I should report it to Apple. Thanks for helping me get this to work in LifeTopix.

I am the mother of seven high school and college-aged children. I am the wife of a wonderfully creative man who teaches children all over our city, and says yes to absolutely everything. I am an Adjunct college instructor for both traditional and distance learning classrooms. I design Distance Learning curriculum. I am a youth choir director. I am a published author and musician. I am a performer, writer and a director. I volunteer for several organizations and churches because I say yes to everything too. I don’t get paid anywhere near the national average for any of these activities, and organizing them seamlessly into something understandable is almost impossible. Most “organizers” in app form make me want to run screaming from the room, even though I am in love with my iPad. These apps are more confusing than the jumbled lists in my head.
Here is my heart-felt request.
Please do not get me addicted to this wonderful app, and then, once all the bugs are knocked out and you have made it not only good, but exquisite, tack a crazy monthly or yearly fee onto continued access that only a thriving business can seriously consider. I have been looking and looking for an app like this. If that is your plan, please hire me now. Seriously.

Hi Edith,
Thank you so much for reaching out to us so wonderfully! Fear not, we have no plans of charging any ongoing fees for using LifeTopix. We’ll continue to work hard and keep improving it — we’re constantly inspired by great users like you.
Best regards,

I have been a LT user for over a year. I really like the concept of all-in-one access to my projects and plans. The Drop Box sync works as long as you remember to do it EACH time you load info into the app on each of your devices (otherwise your current data would be replaced by whatever last synced to Dropbox). The iCloud sync has been an issue since the beginning and its a BIG DEAL for some of us with multiple devices. I appreciate your offer to assist me over the phone but I’m just frustrated with it and ask that you move reliable syncing to the top of your roadmap. Auto syncing with Dropbox may be an answer or your cloud sync service. It takes way too much time and effort to setup a productivity system in LT to have to worry about syncing.
LightArrow
Hi Betty,
Thank you for reaching out. We could not agree more, and reliable sync is on the top of our agenda. We were making great strides in improving iCloud Sync, but things got a lot worse for us after iOS 6.1 came out. We are working with Apple to resolve several issues that affect reliability, and currently we cannot recommend our iCloud Sync to our users. Our Dropbox sync is manual, but is very reliable. We are working now on making Dropbox sync more seamless and automated, starting with improvements in our 6.0 update next month on that path. Also, We are not giving up on iCloud either. Our app, due to its fairly complex data compared to simple list apps, has to depend on the technology we support being robust and reliable. We are not alone in this issue.
We truly appreciate your patience — we work very, very hard every day, and will continue to do so, making faster sync a top agenda.
Best regards,

I love what Lifetopix represents and is trying to achieve however I am finding that it is very slow on my iphone 4. There are significant lag time between touching a button and the execution of the command. I have made sure no other apps are running in the background and done hard reboots of the system to no avail.
This phenom. is most pronounced with lifetopix and I’d like to know if there is a setting or other adjustment I can make to aleviate this.
Thanks,
Ray
LightArrow
Hi Ray, you are right — LifeTopix is not at all snappy on the iPhone 4. We have been making improvements over the updates, but have a much more to do. In the 5.2 update that is planned to be submitted to Apple next week, we have made significant speed improvements in the My Calendar and other date relevant views. Do you mind sharing with us some particular views (other than the calendar and date-relevant views) where you see the most lag with your data? We promise to do our best to make further speed improvements.

Hi. I’ve been using the multi-log for multiple activities. With one of my activities (family time), I’ve made two entry so far for January 3 and January 5. However, when plot out the activities on a graph, it is showing my family time activity for a date of January 31, 2013. Not sure if it is a bug or something I did wrong.
Sincerely,
Bryan

Hi Bryan,
Thank you for your question.
By default the “Family Time” log item is set to display as a monthly total. If you wish to see this log item as a daily total or weekly total (which ever makes more sense to you) simply go to the detail view for “Family Time” and set it to show as “Daily Total”, for example.
To get to the detail view for the “Family Time” log item tap on “Activity Log” accessible from “Health + Activities”. Then tap the more button (green triangle) for the “Family Time” entry. You will be presented with a few options one of which is “Details”. Tap on “Details” and you will be presented with the details view for “Family Time”. Finally tap the “Show” field to set the desired value.

Yes, that did the trick! I didn’t even know about that great feature! Thanks for the reply.

I want to thank you all for the latest update. I had tried everything prior to that but was unable to use LT after the iOS 6 update. It just kept loading until it timed out and the program closed. It’s wonderful to have everything back into one app!! Thanks again!!!
