Is there a way to email a task that will then show up in my task list?
LifeTopix Support
Hi Michelle,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.
This feature is already in development and testing and we plan to release it in the June-July timeframe. Initially we will support Gmail with the ability to convert emails into tasks, projects, trips, notes, etc.
We may release this feature as an inexpensive in-app purchase (Advanced Inbox) to LifeTopix.

I LOVE this app and LifeTopix. I’m trying to set up my life on here but it keeps crashing or just not responding. After waiting 1–2 minutes, I exit from the program and try again. I will try the Mac program to see if I have better luck. I want to be able to use most of the functions and look forward to update fixes. I have the iPhone 4 so I know it’s slow but I am impatient in this day of do it now! Lol. Thank you and ill keep trying.
LifeTopix Support
Hi Carolyn
We apologize for the crashes you are experiencing. We will look into this problem but to help us better track down the problem would you mind answering a few questions for us?
Which version of LifeTopix are you using?
Are you using LifeTopix cloud sync? If so which cloud service are you using? (i.e. Dropbox, Google Docs, …)
What are you doing in the app when it crashes?
We sincerely appreciate your patience.

Hi lifetopix help, I have a specific question. I work as a sub contractor, and would like to keep a tab of the amount I am owed in a clear tab. You seem to have set this up without having any software for work commitments.
LightArrow
Hi Patrick,
If we understand you correctly, you want to keep track of expenses? Or do you mean the payments feature in Finances? We do plan to support “Payments To Me” in the near future to keep track of payments from others to oneself. Today we support payments out to others — service providers and other people.

Hi team, Great application! Can I use my google calendar such as a principal calendar? Thanks
LightArrow
Thanks for the kind words and the question!
Yes, you can — if you have the google calendar added to your device Calendar app, in our app you can go to the Settings view, and in My Settings, set the default calendar to that one.

Amazing application, congratulations!
a) I notice that there is a little delay or lag of the app in my iphone 4. Is this happening because of the old cpu and ram of my device?
b) Are you planning a greek translation of the application?
Thank you very much. Sorry for my bad English
LifeTopix Support
Hi John,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your questions.
We have made many performance improvements in our last few updates and will continue to do so. Would you mind telling us where you are seeing the most lag when using LifeTopix? This will help us focus on the right places and make the biggest impact.
We plan to work on supporting various languages but will first start with the languages Apples recommends.

Hi Kristine,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.

Hi,
Great app!
I have a Mac and an iphone 5. Downloaded app on phone and Air access on Mac. I don’t have access to wireless for the Mac. Ethernet only. I’ve been able to sync to reminders and ical through icloud but cannot sync iphone app to desktop app without wireless? Why can’t I do it thru the USB?
Any input appreciated…
Thanks.
LifeTopix Support
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.
As long as both your Mac and your iPhone are on the same network (regardless of whether you are using wireless or ethernet on your Mac) you will be able to use AirAccess to connect to your iPhone. Are both your iPhone and Mac connected to the same network or are you using the cellular network on your iPhone?
Our current plan is to support Mac, Windows (tablets and PC) and Android devices, with full automatic sync across devices in the future.

Hi,
Thanks for the response. I’m using cellular on the iphone. How do I connect the phone and mac to the same network without wireless? (Mac is ethernet)
Thanks!
LifeTopix Support
Hi,
Currently both the Mac and the iPhone must be on the same network for AirAccess to work with the LifeTopix. We do plan, in addition to iOS devices, to support Mac, Windows (tablets and PC) and Android devices, with full automatic sync across devices in the future. This support will work over WiFi and will work over the cellular network as well.
We appreciate your patience.

I can’t get location services set up on my iPad…the whole location services page is grayed out (not so on my iPhone) and strangely, LifeTopix doesn’t show up on my iPhone Notifications list (neither on the “in Notification Center” list nor the “Not in Notification Center” list). It’s not in the Locations Services list on the iPhone, but it is in the Location Services list on my iPad, although it is not selectable (none of them are). I’ve rebooted the iPad, no change. Running the latest update on iOS on both my iPad mini and my iPhone 5. Any suggestions are welcome.
LifeTopix Support
Hi Randy,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.
When the Location Services page is grayed out it is usually a result of the location services being set to not allow changes. To make sure that your location services is set to allow changes please go to Settings->General->Restrictions. Make sure your restrictions are either OFF or if it is ON that the Location Services is set to Allow Changes.
When LifeTopix requests permission to use notifications the system will prompt the user for permission. This action should result in LifeTopix being added to the list of notifications.

Hi Team,
How can I assign a near me (geolocalization) of my shopping list. That way when I am close to the store, it will let me know?
Regards,
Ivan
LifeTopix Support
Hi Ivan,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.
LifeTopix allows you to assign a seller to a shopping item (in your shopping list) and the seller can have a location assigned to it. You can tap on “Near Me” on the left side panel of the dashboard (main view) to see items that are near you. In the case where a seller has a location near you and that seller has been assigned to a shopping item then the shopping item will be included in the list of items nearby.
To assign a seller to your shopping list simply tap on the more button (green down arrow) at the right of the shopping item and select “Details”. Tap on the “Seller” field and select a seller and then tap “Save” at the top right of the screen.
To assign a location to the seller simply go to “People + Services” –> “Service Providers” –> “All Service Providers” and find your service provider. Tap on the more button (green down arrow) and select “Details”. At the bottom of the screen you will see some icons. The third one to the right is the location setting icon. Tap the icon and set the location for the seller and then tap “Save” at the top right of the screen.
We plan to add automatic location alerts in the future.

When I copy an entire checklists, the copy places my items in a random order. Is this a bug?
I would like for my items to retain their position in the list.
Also, editing in AirAccess is extremely limited.
Please help.

Hi Sam,
Thank you for reaching out to us and letting us know about this issue. We rely on engaged customers, such as yourself, to help us improve LifeTopix.
We have verified that when a checklist is copied that the order of its items are not maintained. We will fix this in our next update.
We are currently working to improve AirAccess and plan to have an update in the near future.

I review Life Topix and was very impressed. I just downloaded to my ipad. On the home screen and on the top banner are three buttons, Agenda Alerts and News. News appears to be some of my recent inquires. HOW do I remove an item from the list if I no longer want it to appear?
Thank you,
Dave
LifeTopix Support
Hi David,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.
To clear a news item from the list simply swipe the item (to the right or left) to clear it. When you swipe the item a red button will appear to the right of the item with the title “Clear”. Tap on the “Clear” button to clear the news item.

I just got with Bluebeam regarding URL scheme for their product.
They gave me the following
It is blue-beam-revu://
And the app id is 528122602
Put this in and it still does not work. Is there something you must do on your end?
Thanks
Bob Wagner
LightArrow
Hi Robert,
Nothing is needed from our side as long as the app is installed and the launch URL is correct (the app id is only used to find the icon), and the app supports being launched from other apps.
After playing around with the URL, we were able to launch Bluebeam Vu on the iPad with the URL Bluebeam://start — the app id we got was 489696286.
They have another app called Revu which we have not tried.
Hope this is helpful.

Is there at least a way to view only my reminders (including device reminders) together within LifeTopix? Without having to simultaneously view other items on my calendar? So I can be sure I’ve taken care of all of them.
LightArrow
Hi Bob,
You can either change the filter (top right icon below +) in the Home Agenda or the My Calendar view to uncheck all other items (projects, tasks, etc.) — or you can use the “Events, Appointments, Reminders” view in the Events topic (which has its own filter as well). You can add the latter view to the Hot List for easier access. You can do that by going into the Events topic, and then tapping on the down green triangle next to the “Events, Appointments, Reminders” view and choose Add to Hot List.

Hi Kent,

I notice that calendar events are also added to my device calendar. It would be nice if I could do something similar with reminders. I use Siri to schedule reminders.. would be awesome if they could likewise show up in LifeTopix.

How can i accept invitations from other iCloud-Calendar-Users? Is this possible within LIfeTopix? Thanks.
LightArrow
Hi AndiB,
Thanks for the question. You cannot directly respond to an event invitation. However, that event is visible in LifeTopix (Home, My Calendar, and Event topic views), so you can see edit it from those. In the My Calendar filter (icon on top right below + icon) you can select which calendars from your device you want to see from inside LifeTopix calendar views.

Great app, and I am really, really trying to learn how to use it. It seems to be very complicated and challenging for me to learn, but I am not giving up yet. I have limited bandwidth so I am wondering if there is a detailed offline manual that I can download. Also, I would like to have color options, and color highlighting options would be awesome. Wow! Love this app! ..but how can I view my contacts? Does not seem to show my iPhone contacts even though I gave it permission. Maybe I just don’t know where to click.
LightArrow
Hi Bob,
Thanks for the kind words!
The device contacts are utilized in LifeTopix as and when you need them — for example, if you create a service provider (your doctor, or your plumber) you can utilize the contacts data for them to associate with the service provider, so that you have access to their contact info without having to leave LifeTopix. Same for trip companions, event invitees/co-hosts, task owners, project participants, etc.
We hope this helps.

Why is the app taking so long to load approx 3 minutes???
LightArrow
Hi Marty,
We are truly sorry for that. There is a defect in the current version that causes the app to sometimes take a long time to load when iCloud Sync is enabled. We have fixed this defect in the 5.2 update that we are submitting to Apple next week.

Falling more in love with this App everyday. Is there a way to change or get rid of the category colors? Is there a way to control the size of the box made in my calendar when I schedule something? Thanks a million. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
LightArrow
Hi Bettina,
Thanks so much for the kind words! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you as well!
The size of the box made on the calendar is automatically dependent on the duration of the item — there is not a way to configure it. Can you give us an example of what you meant, so that we can see how we could support that in the future? Also, we’re not sure what you meant by the category colors. Unused categories for things like projects, service providers, etc. can be deleted by swiping on them. If you meant the colors of the calendar items, they are automatically picked up from the device calendar colors, and in the filter of My Calendar, you can select which device calendars you wish to include in your My Calendar view.

I’m having an issue with the calendar feature and events labeled on my various calendars as “all day” events. On the Gmail accounts I use for work, personal and my husband’s calendar the “all day” designation is common. It shows up in my other iOS calendar apps as a single entry at the beginning of the day but on LifeTopix the entries take up the entire day making the weekly calendar view (my preferred view) a mess to use. Is there any way to change the way “all day” items show up on the LifeTopix calendar?
Thanks.
LifeTopix Support

I am connected to Icloud via 3G connection. Why can I not sync? Please upgrade.

Hi
Just getting used to the app but can’t find how to add repeating credit transactions such as salary.
Thanks
LightArrow
Hi Julian,
Thanks for reaching out. Currently, the items that support repeat schedules are tasks, appointments and bills. We plan to add that ability to transactions in the future, but for now each transaction has to be manually added. I have updated to version 5.1 of LifeTopix. The app has now read the “reminders” in Reminders but it seems only as reminders not as tasks as I now have 56 reminders in the app but zero tasks. Perhaps I misunderstood the intention, but I was expecting to now also have 56 tasks which I have synchronised between Outlook and Reminders via Exchange. I may be missing something, or not?, in which case do you plan to treat the imports from Reminders as full tasks some time in the future?
Lewis Santos
LightArrow
Hi Lewis,
Thanks for upgrading to 5.1 and for your question. Yes, we show the entries from the device Reminders app as exactly that, with the ability to check them off as complete the same same way the Reminders app allows to do. So the behavior is more like a to do or a task, rather than like a traditional reminder which only has a title and a time. But more directly to your point, just like we allow device Calendar app entries to be converted to tasks, projects, trips, events, visits etc in LifeTopix, we will add the same ability where you can convert Reminder app entries to LifeTopix items in the future.
Again, thanks for using LifeTopix and keep your questions and suggestions coming.
Best regards,
Team LightArrow

Was wondering what the best selection was for bill input and alerts? I’d like to enter the data and have them trigger.
LightArrow
Hi Jon,
Bills to show up in the What’s Next view and My Calendar view, as well as in the Alerts view when they’re overdue. They also can be configured to create device calendar entries with reminders in LifeTopix Settings.
Also, we support local device notifications for these types: Task, Reminder, Appointment, Information, Trip, Visit, Project, Event — and Bill will be added in the next update after 5.1.
We hope this helps,
Team LightArrow
Kaz
Hi Team,
I like the idea of this app and am working my way through it, with much to learn. In Finances, my credit cards seem to come up as debit balances — so it shows more money than I actually have! Is there a way to convert them to credit balances? Thanks, Kaz.
LightArrow
Thanks for the question, Kaz! The way we meant the credit crd balance to work is to have the the credit limit as the starting Balance. Then you can to add transactions to the account (Withdrawal when you pay for a purchase with it, Deposit when you pay off the credit card bill), so at any give point your Current Balance is whatever is available in your credit line. In the list of transactions, deposits show as positive, for example $2000.00 and withdrawals shows up as negative (with parentheses), for example ($500.00). We have tried to generalize the account and transactions across all account types which has made it a little unclear. We are planning to improve the wording and flow in the near future to make it clearer.
Best regards,

Terri
Hi, I am glad to have found your app! I’m in the learning curve and have a question about how to change a task to a shopping list item — and is there an easy way to change it? I could not locate this info under help, but perhaps I looked in the wrong place.
Thank you very much!!
Terri
LightArrow
Hi Terri,
Thank you for using LifeTopix and for reaching out with your question. There is not really a way to convert a task into a shopping item, as a shopping item has an associated product with it. We make adding a shopping item as simple or as complete as you wish it to be — if you use the lightning-add, you can start typing in the item name, and if already in the product database from being added before, it shows up tobe picked instantly. If not found, you can just add the item you searched for with a single tap. If you wish or need to, at any time afterwards you can tap on the item to enter other detail like amount, prices, seller, etc.
We hope this helps.
Best regards,

I am so excited to learn about all the great features this app has to offer! I have a question, though. I just downloaded the app today and I’m trying to figure out how to configure my device calendar in the app. When I go to settings it says Device Calendar Name and there’s nothing there to add. When I click cancel, the app crashes. I hope this makes sense. Can you help me with this? Thanks in advance
LightArrow
Hi Ashley,
That is our fault. We had missed a calendar related change needed by iOS 6. We have already submitted an update (5.0.4) to Apple for expedited approval, which resolves the issue and brings the device calendars back into LifeTopix. We expect it to be available to users in the next couple of days. Although Apple must be flooded with iOS 6 related updates for apps right now, then have been very good at speeding up approvals.
We truly apologize for the inconvenience in the mean time.

I’m sorry if this is a crazy question but the finance section for Life topics is all manual correct? Nothing feeds directly from the banking or credit institutions (balances/transactions) as other finance applications do correct? Right now I have a Banking/Finance app, a To Do list app, my Calendar app, etc, etc, etc. I was looking for an app that allowed management of all these topics within ONE app. From my initial review of this app I thought I had found it but the Finance section doesnt provide the same support as other Finance apps (mint.com/PageOne). Maybe I’m just not understanding how this app works but it would be great if we could list accounts in the all accounts section, noting there specific due dates/amounts and that information would feed into the payment calendar. Again, maybe I’m just not getting it, but it seems to me to provide viable support for financial informationI the different categories of the finance section would tie together more, allowing better tracking. Also if the payment calendar could be auto populated with the account details (due dates/amounts) from the All account section users would only have to update the payment calendar to reflect the date/amount paid. If I’m missing something please, please help!!
LightArrow
Hi Valerie,
You are correct — the financial tracking in LifeTopix currently does not have any online integrations. It only integrates with other topics within LifeTopix — for example, payments for people and services, where the services may be for specific events, projects, trips, etc., and the expenses and bills integration with the My Calendar view.
We do plan to support online integrations in the Finances topic in the future.

Hi.
I am a new user. I went to add my weight for today but found only pounds. I need it to be metric (kg). I couldn’t any way to change units.
Thanks.
LightArrow
Hello BP,
Thanks for the question. You can easily add or edit log units. From the LifeTopix dashboard view tap on the Quick Menu (bottom left) to fan-out the icons including the Settings (gear) icon. Please tap on that, then select Manage Categories. From there, go to Log Entry Units. Scroll down to see the one called “pounds”. Tap on the blue circle (>) icon next to it — it’s tricky to tap on it as it’s a little small. The detail view of that category opens up. The top bar in blue should say “Category” and not “Manage Categories”. Below that, in green you’ll see the word “pounds”. Tap on that and change it to kg. Then tap on Save on the top right, and you are done!

Under My Contexts, is there a setting to hide completed tasks from view and the context count within that context? I’m checking my tasks and it’ll show I have 3 items to do under a context but two of them were completed so I really only have one more item left to do. Thank you.

I have an appointment this afternoon and I have associated it with a service provider. Is there a way to have the address from this contact show up in the appointment? I need to know where I’m going. Thanks!
LightArrow
Hi Kim,
That is a great suggestion! We should be able to add that in an update in the near future. We can display the location in the detail view if the associated item (in this case the service provider) has a location via its associated contact.

I can’t “search” the help for my question. You earlier told me I can do recurring events. The only recurring I can see is annually. And I can’t even get that to come up properly. I have events that recur in a way that doesn’t fit with annually. How do I get recurring choices to come up?
LightArrow
Hi Jesse,
If you go to the Events topic under My Topics, you will see a row called Appointments. If you tap on that, you will be in the Appointments view where you see a + button on the top right. Tap it to add a new one, enter a title and time (Starts and Ends), and tap Save. If you open the the appointment again, you will see a row called “Not set to repeat” — please tap on that to set the repeat schedule. All the schedule choices are available in that view for the appointment you just created.
A new appointment can also be created from My Calendar and also from Quick Add (accessible from the Quick Menu on the bottom left).
We hope that helps.

Great we can now open documents attached to emails in the app but once saved where are they? and why can we not change the name of the document and assign it anywhere?
Thanks
LightArrow
Hi Mike,
Once you tap Save, the file gets saved inside the Notes + Files topic. In that topic, please go to All Folders > Local Files > My Documents to see the saved file.
For convenience, you can tap and hold on All Folders to add it to the Hot List, so that you can go to your local files more easily without having to go into the topic views.
We do plan to support the ability to edit the name and pick the location under My Documents (in a specified sub folder) in the future.

LightArrow
Hi Jesse,
Thanks for the note and for the question.
We do support recurring Appointments (under the Events topic) and recurring tasks under the Task + Projects topic. Events in LifeTopix (Hosting or Attending) are a slightly different thing — designed to be a little more involved (like weddings, birthdays, graduations, etc.).
The Repeat Schedule is available inside an Appointment or a Task after you save it (you can do that by tapping “Create and Add More Data” for a new one). We do support some flexibility similar to what you’ve asked for in the Repeat Schedule, and we’ll keep improving it over time.
