When you tap Home from the View Selector and then tap What’s Next, the What’s Next view appears. This view gives you a quick overview of what’s coming up on your agenda, including to-dos and items with dates.
It is divided among the following sections:
To do lists
You can create new to do lists (checklists) and view existing to-do lists directly from this section.
To create a new to do list, tap Home > Add in the To do lists section of What’s Next, then tap New Checklist. This action allows you to add a Title, Description, and multiple to do list items. You can check off each item on the to do list as you complete it.
To view an existing checklist in What’s Next, tap Home > Add in the To do lists section of What’s Next, then tap Choose a Checklist. This action displays an existing checklist in this section.
You can ensure a checklist shows in this view when you create it elsewhere in LifeTopix. Tap
next to the checklist item, and then tap Add to What’s Next. Alternatively, add the checklist to this view as you are viewing it by tapping
and then choosing Add To What’s Next.
Today
Items with the dates designated for the current day appear in this section. This includes projects, trips, visitors, events, bills, shopping lists, occasions, tasks, appointments, reminders, notes, and expenses.
You can also add items directly to this section by tapping Add and using Quick Add or Quick Log.
Tomorrow
Items with the dates designated for the next day appear in this section. This includes projects, trips, visitors, events, bills, shopping lists, occasions, tasks, appointments, reminders, notes, and expenses.
You can also add items directly to this section by tapping Add and using Quick Add or Quick Log.
Next 7 days
Items with the dates designated for the next seven days appear in this section. This includes projects, trips, visitors, events, bills, shopping lists, occasions, tasks, appointments, reminders, notes, and expenses.

This app is exactly what I’ve been searching for! I’ve tried them all and this one does everything I need and more than I expected. Once I get the hang of it, I will be able to delete a lot of other apps that are mediocre at best
My only hang up is that when I create a task and assign a time to do it, it posts it an hour later. I’m not sure if this is a time change issue or I’m supposed to put my time zone in somewhere, but it confuses me and requires me to go into my desktop calender and adjust stuff. Also, Is there a way to avoid having the [Life Topix] at the end of the task on the calendar. This probably isn’t a big deal, but my OCD tendencies kind of makes me cringe at it
Even with these things, I still love your app! Looking forward to really getting in there and mastering all the great things in there!

Hi Ginger,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your questions and also for your kind words.
Would you mind giving us more information about your task issue? Are you assigning a specific time (not just a date) when you set the due date to the task? What do you mean when you say “posts it an hour later”? Are you referring the task itself in LifeTopix, or in the Calendar app, or the local notification generated from the device for the task? If you give us a specific example it will help us determine and resolve the issue. We really appreciate your help.
LifeTopix currently requires the [LifeTopix] tag for calendar items but we are working on removing that requirement.

Hello there, I just started using this app today and am already loving it! While I was exploring it, just wondering on the Homepage — could I add Tasks List to the To Do instead of Checklist? And could I customize what to view on the Homepage? If these options aren’t available at the moment, maybe could consider adding them in into the next update? A few hiccups here and there but absolutely an awesome app! Looking forward to your reply… Thank you in advance and cheers, Zoe

Hi Zoe,
Thanks for reaching out with the nice words and questions!
We do plan to add the ability to allow tasks into checklists in the future. Currently we do show the tasks due today, tomorrow or the 7 days after that, but tasks without due dates do not show in What’s Next, so the ability to add tasks (dated or undated) to checklists would help. Currently the What’s Next view shares the My Calendar filter, so you can configure what to show (or not to show) by tweaking the calendar filter. In the next update we are giving them separate filters.
Another thing that might be of interest to you — you can add Tasks Lists (or most other views or individual items) to the Hot List for easy access. For example, if you go Tasks + Projects, and tap on the down green arrow icon, you will see the option to Add to Hot List.
We are delighted to improve the app with feedback from awesome users like you!
Best regards,

Greetings — I use LifeTopix daily and love it — my only observation is that it now runs VERY VERY slowly! When I start the APP on either my iPHONE or iPAD, it takes minutes, not seconds, to load and start up. Have you any thoughts or ideas regarding this? Thank you in advance — Jeff Hallum

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for the reaching out with the kind words and the issue. In our 5.1 update, we made some fixes to address the long startup time affecting some users. Please let us know if you’ve already applied that, and still have issues. If so, we’ll work with you to investigate what we might have missed in our fixes so far.
Best regards,
