This view allows you to capture any type of information quickly so that you can provide more detailed information later as time permits. Tap to bring up the Quick Inbox new entry box. Provide some text in the Item field, then tap Act by to provide optional date information. If Act by is set, that date and time will be displayed in this item’s summary along with the words “Act by.” Tap Soon or Someday to indicate whether the new item should be added to the Soon list or to the Someday list, then tap Save to save the item.
When you are ready to add additional information to an item in the Quick Inbox, tap , then select an item type for conversion from the resulting action panel. Specify the item’s details, then tap Save. Once you specify additional details for an item in the Quick Inbox, its icon will change to the corresponding item type; until then, its icon will be .
