The My Topics view provides access to all of the 12 life topics. The 12 life topics allow you to manage most items in your life. You can configure the visibility of the topics by tappingon the top right of the view.
Bug:
When adding text to notes and when you reach the very bottom because you had written a long note, the screen doesn’t goes up, so you can’t see what you are typing in your notes when you reach the bottom.
I bill clients. Would like to filter completed tasks by a date range to assist in billing. Love the notes I can attach to each task and was hoping to use them in billing.
Hi Sylvia,
Thanks for reaching out! We do plan to enhance filtering, and we’ll look at extending it to support date ranges (in addition to status) for tasks.

Hi Michelle,
You can rename the categories inside topics, but the topic title themselves are not editable right now. Can you give us an example of what you want? FOr example, are you saying you want to rename “Tasks + Projects” to something else, for example?
Team LightArrow
Hi Elena,
It is in our roadmap for the future, and the request does come up from users. Do you mind giving us an example on how you’d use the feature?
Best,
LightArrow
Sure. I am an attorney so I would like to be able to have a “Professional” topic so I can keep track of bar licensures and associated requirements (CLEs, dues, required disclosures, etc). I know I can use the context tags, but it would be nice to have in one place. Thanks!
Thanks, Elena! That makes perfect sense. We’ll bump up that feature in the roadmap, and will let you know when we tie down the release we’ll target it for.

I am new to Life Topics but can completely see the value in being able to edit the topics, similarly to Elena. For example I wouldn’t mind creating topics that mirror my roles created in a Covey/7 habits environment. However, I am still learning the App and maybe there is a way to do this that I just haven’t discovered yet.
We have had a few requests to allow users to create topics and we do plan to support this in a future update.
In the meantime you may want to consider using the context tags feature in LifeTopix which allows you to group different types of items together.
I saw where Siri will work with life topics, however when I tried to schedule an appointment it said it scheduled but wouldn’t allow me to state who or what the appointment is, is this the phone or life topics.
Hi Chrissy,
Thanks for reaching out. When you create an appointment or a device reminder using Siri, you can already see them in the Home view, My Calendar view and in the Event topic. Today, we don’t control where Siri puts things in until we support Siri natively from inside LifeTopix — we do plan that in the future. There are, however a couple of things we’d point out: 1. you can convert device calendar items into LifeTopix items (tasks, projects, trips, visits, events etc.) by tapping the down green triangle to the right of the calendar item in your Home view, My Calendar view, etc, 2. You can add device reminder items and calendar items from LifeTopix, and 3. When typing in titles and descriptions into items in LifeTopix, you can choose to use the microphone in the keyboard.
We hope this helps, but we’ll continue to improve the easy of data entry.
Best regards,
Team LightArrow
Thank you for your response. As soon as you have figured it all out(about working with voice over on iPhone 4S) please let me know. So I can get it for my husbands phone.
Thank you, if your company is serious about working this out for the blind to use, I will let all my friends know. This is great. IIt’s an awesome app. And will work for everything. I can’t tell you how excited I am about this. Please let me know if you have any questions

Is there suppose to be a way to link the general calendar into one of the topical calendar such as within Travel? .. Such as linking to one of my google calendars?
Hi John,
Today you can set the default calendar that LifeTopix writes to in the LifeTopix Settings view, and select which device calendars you see in My Calendar, Home, and Events Topic from the My Calendar filter.
We do plan to support calendar linking by type and topic int he future.
Best regards,
Team LightArrow
Hi April,
You can create the subject, and then add recurring appointments to it for the classes using the + icon below the description and assignments. Currently, there is no way to assign different colors to these, but it is something we plan to support in the future.

We’ll verify and resolve this in our next release later this month. Thank you!
