This topic enables you to manage all audio, photos, and videos created in LifeTopix.
Key features of the Media topic
- ability to organize the audio, photos, and videos you capture on your device, and ability to associate them with related information in LifeTopix
- touchpoints to the Tasks + Projects, People + Services, Home + Assets, and Bookmarks topics
Using Media touchpoints
Touchpoints allow relevant information to be shared seamlessly between Media and other topics. Example: If you defined online media sources (such as Netflix, Napster, or Shutterfly) or traditional media sources (such as your New York Times subscription or account at the local video rental store) in People + Services, the information about those resources is also accessible directly from Media. Or, if you have defined media-related assets (such as your stereo system or Apple TV) in Media, the information about those resources is also accessible directly from Home + Assets. Or, if you have media-related projects you want to work on (such as connecting your new entertainment center or replacing the TV in your living room.), you can define those projects in Media and they are accessible directly from Tasks + Projects.

Yes, we do plan to add the ability to use 3rd party apps to launch certain kinds of files in a future update (earliest is likely to be the 5.2 update in October).
Best regards,
