This topic enables you to manage information for all the trips you plan to take, visitors you will be receiving, and places you frequent or just want to remember.
Key features of the Travel + Places topic
- ability to create entries for all your trips, visitors, outings, and places, and to view them at-a-glance
- ability to share trips and visitors via email with other LifeTopix users
- automatic reminders through integration with your device’s Calendar
- touchpoints to the People + Services, Events, Shopping, Tasks + Projects, and Notes + Files topics
Using Travel + Places touchpoints
Touchpoints allow relevant information to be shared seamlessly between Travel + Places and other topics. Example: If you have a restaurant defined as a service provider in People + Services, you can choose that restaurant as a place you wish to take a visitor from Travel + Places. Or if you want to plan an outing that will include other people, you can define that outing in Travel + Places and, via the touchpoint to Events, it will show up as an event in Events. Or, if you have travel– or visitor-related resources such as online documents that are defined in Notes + Files, you can access those resources directly from Travel + Places. And shopping items and tasks required for a trip or a visit can be defined in Travel + Places and will show up in Shopping and Tasks + Projects, respectively.
