The Near Me feature gives you one-tap access to a view of the LifeTopix items that are in the vicinity of your current location. Tasks, sellers for shopping items, events, appointments, notes, audio, photos, and videos support this location awareness. In order for an item to be included in the Near Me view, you must have previously set the location for that item.
Note: The Near Me feature requires that you enable Location Services services on your device. To enable Location Services on your device, go to your device Settings and tap Location Services, then set Location Services to ON. If LifeTopix appears in the list of applications provided, make sure LifeTopix is set to ON. If LifeTopix does not appear in the list of applications provided, then the first time you try to set the location for an object in LifeTopix, you will be asked if you want to allow LifeTopix to be able to use your current location — you must grant this request in order to have access to the Near Me feature in LifeTopix.
Location information can be specified for assets and projects, but those items will not be included in the Near Me view.
Location information can be specified for service providers and sellers, but those will only be included in the Near Me view if an appointment, task, or a shopping item is associated with them.

How is the location determined for Tasks and Appointments?
If a task or appointment has a location specified for it, that location is used for placement in the Near Me view.
If a task or appointment does not have a location specified for it, but it is associated with a service provider that does have a location specified, the service provider’s location is used for placement in the Near Me view.
If a service provider’s location is not explicitly set but that service provider is associated with an entry in your device’s Contacts, then that service provider’s location is determined by its address as specified in your device’s Contacts.
