How do I configure LightArrow Organiser for Mac to use CloudMagic as the default email app rather than Mail? CloudMagic is the default email reader within Mail.
Jeff,
Thanks for reaching out to us. We have not had the opportunity to test with CloudMagic. We’ll have our testing team investigate that and see if it’s a straightforward configuration to support it from pour app.

I’m looking to browse your help documents for your app. Similar to how OmniFocus provides its user guides through iBooks.
Jacob,
We are still in the process of updating several pages for the latest update. Once done, we will redo the unified PDF help document. We do plan to make it available via iBooks as well.

Hello, I am having issues with the iphone/Macbook air access as nothing is loading on the macbook side. On the iPhone, it just continuously shows “processing” and nothing ever happens. Please advise
Hi Michael,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
The Air Access App is not supported anymore and doesn’t work on the latest OSX.
We’ve submitted our new ‘LightArrow Organizer for Mac’ app last week. This version will be a full version of the app unlike AirAccess (which requires an iOS device to be present), and will automatically sync with our apps on iOS devices.
We expect it to be available by next week.

Hi, I would like to give the MAC version a shot. Any ideas on the launch date?
Hi Michael,
Thanks for reaching out to us. We submitted our app to Apple last week, and the LightArrow Organizer for Mac app should be generally available next week.

quick question — how do you change the color assigned to reminder, ios reminder to a color you want in the calendar?
Hi Amy,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
We support overriding the color of Reminders with the color of a Context Tag of that Reminder using a setting (Settings > My Settings > Override Item Color with Context).
However, there is currently no way to change the color of the iOS Reminders in our app. We will consider adding this in a future release.

Hallo again,
actually I am playing with LifeTopix’s Projects and Finances sections. In the Finances section I can associate an expense (why not a payment or payment template?) to a Project topic, but if I open the specific Project the associated expense is not shown. Ok, as a “work around” with Expenses I could use a specific Context Tag, but not with a Payment or with a Payment Template. There is no possibility to associate a topic or a Context Tag.
It would be really great and extremly helpful, too, to see in the Projects view not only tasks, but also relevant expenses and payments and all other with the project associated topics, like appointments or events, to get a quick overview over the whole project.
Best regards
Wolfgang
Hi Wolfgang,
Thank you for reaching out to us with great suggestions!
One Project can have many associated Expenses, while one Expense can be associated with only one Project.
Note that “topic items” (like Projects, Events, Trips, ServiceProviders, Assets. Notes, etc.) can contain multiple “data-items”, whereas “data items” (like Appointments, Tasks, Photos, etc.) can be associated with only one “topic item”.
Data items can additionally be associated with a contact (in addition to one topic item) if you have the Pro Contacts Pack.
You should be able to associate Expenses with projects either from the Project detail (from the associated items section) or from the Expense detail (using the Associated Topic tile). After successfully associating them, you should be able to see them from either Project detail view or from the Associated Topic object tile in the Expense detail.
Also, note that in the Expenses list view, you can group expenses by associated item as well.
Payment Templates could be used across the app for various topic types not just the ones that they are associated with. Hence, Payment templates cannot be associated with Topic items.
Payments however can be associated with topic items. We will consider adding this in a future update.
Did you mean that the Project list view (as the Project detail view already shows the associated tasks, expenses, etc.) should show a summary of Expenses & Payments, just like the summary of tasks? We will consider that for a future release.
Hope this helps.

questions: can I save recipes from other sites? Can I import shopping list? Is there an add on for tracking gift cards etc.
Hi Alicia,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
There are two options to save recipes, you can save it as a bookmark or you can save it as a note. Also, we have a built-in category for recipe that you can assign to either a bookmark or note to help you manage them.
Currently, we don’t have a way to import shopping list, we will plan to include this in our future update.
One option to track gift card is to use the Finance topic and set up an account for the gift card that you have. That way you can track how much money is left on your gift cards.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.

how go I color code calendar appt as need several colours to match staff on jobs
Hi Jodhi,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
If you’ve purchased LifeTopix or LifeTopix pack in-app purchase in any of our other products, along with quite a few other features, you will get the ability to add custom Context Tags with custom colors for various items.
The context tags show below the icon of the items with their color in list views sections of the month and year calendar views. Each of the context tags can be assigned a color and they show up as colored tags for each context. We allow for overriding the item colors with the context color (instead of topic color) in our settings view. This way you can give items context tags as needed (for matching your various staff groups).
Hope that helps!
Should you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us again.

My.Agenda is displaying a badge of “2”. How do I find out what these two things are. I can’t find them anywhere.
Hi Preston,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
The badge on the My.Agenda icon displays the number of overdue items in your agenda (Home) view. You can tap on the “Overdue” tile in the Home (Agenda) view to view the overdue items (like Shopping Items & Tasks).
Also, please note that you can disable the badge on the My.Agenda icon by opening the iOS Settings App > Scroll down to “My.Agenda” > Icon Badge > Toggle the slider to Off.
Should you have any further questions or comments, do not hesitate to contact us again.

How can I share my calendar or tasks & activities with a non Life Topix customer?
Hi Sherri,
Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us with your question.
You can share a task, event, project, note, trip and other items in LifeTopix by opening the detail for the item and then tapping on the circular action button labeled “Share” (located below the title of the item). This will allow you to share the item with others via “FaceBook”, “Twitter”, email and text message.
LIfeTopix maintains all items that are created in LifeTopix that have dates in the calendar views. You can share these with the method described above.
LifeTopix allows you view and add items to your iOS Calendar app as well. If you wish to share an item that is in the iOS Calendar app then you can open the calendar item in the iOS Calendar app and select “Edit” at the top right of the screen. Scroll down to the “Invitees” item and select the contacts you want to share the item with.

I have just started using lifetoppix and it just what I have been looking for. My only issue is that there seems to be a long delay when syncing between devices. I set up a task yesterday afternoon on my iPad with crucial info on but was unable to access it at work today? It only appeared later on tonight. I have set up sync to Dropbox , is there a way to automatically sync at start or close in the app?
Simon,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
When you make a change on one device, it takes a few seconds for the change to get pushed up to Dropbox. If you close the app right away, it does not get a chance to do that (since Apple limits what apps can do when they are in the background). When you make a change, you will see a a green circle rotating around the lightArrow icon’s white dot on the top left of the screen. Let it complete. FYI, when the app is running (app screen is up) — it automatically syncs every 45 seconds or so. You can force a sync to happen right away by doing a pulldown to refresh in the Home view or the Recent view. You can do the same on the other device to get the changes. You can force a sync also from the Quick Menu on bottom left — tap on the cloud icon and then tap on Sync Now. That also forces a sync to happen (takes a few seconds).
So, as long as you do not close the app right away after making a change (give it a few seconds, or force a sync), then you’ll be fine.
Please let us know if that does not work well for you. If necessary, we can set up a phone call to walk through the steps if you still have an issue. If you want that, please reach out to us at support@lightarrow.com

I’m so happy to hear about IMAP in future updates. Any ideas for a work around for those of us not using one of the currently supported mail services? A way to send/email the app tasks that will end up in the inbox like with Toodledoo? Also, I imported my Toodledoo tasks but it looks like the contexts didn’t transfer over. Any chance of this function being in a future update?
Thanks!!
Hi Kim,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We currently support only Gmail email accounts (including business accounts), Yahoo email, iCloud email and Outlook/Live.com email accounts. There is no workaround for other email types.
In the next 8.1 update (due in May) we will add the following along with a lot of other features and improvements:
1. Support for custom IMAP email accounts
2. Context support for Toodledo
Should you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us again.

Hi Joe,
