This topic enables you to manage all the information related to your shopping needs, including lists of items to buy, products you regularly buy or wish to research for future purchase, gifts you want to give, and gifts you have received.
Key features of the Shopping topic
- ability to define shopping lists, including quantity, packaging, cost, and store
- support for tracking items on a per-product basis, including stores, prices, notes, and bookmarks
- support for tracking items on a per-store basis, including products bought at each store and prices paid
- support for tracking coupons
- ability to track product, price, date, and note information for gifts you give to other people or gifts you have received
- automatic reminders through integration with your device’s Calendar
- automatic re-use of information, such as seller and price for a product you buy frequently

Using Shopping touchpoints
Touchpoints allow relevant information to be shared seamlessly between Shopping and the Events and Travel + Places topics. Example: Suppose you have a list of supplies to buy for a party you are hosting. The supply list you define in Events is also accessible from Shopping. Or, if you specify items you want to buy for a trip you have defined in Travel + Places, those are also accessible from Shopping.

Jim
Guys,
Are you having issues with your shopping list function? I’ve tried adding several items using the lightning add and they don’t get added or it crashes the app.…additionally, I was able to finally add charcoal to the list after 8 attempts (never a good sign) but if I open the list, the charcoal entry disappears.… Close the app and reopen.…the charcoal reappears ( until I close the app again and then it disappears)
I like your app but your shopping list is too unpredictable and difficult to be useful…
LifeTopix Support
Hi Jim,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We sincerely apologize for the problems you are experiencing with adding shopping items in LifeTopix. We are currently trying to reproduce the issue on our side. If you don’t mind we would like to ask you a couple of questions that may help us determine what may be happening.
1. Do you have cloud sync enabled? If so which cloud vendor are you using? (e.g. Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, SkyDrive)
2. Are you able to add shopping items using another form of add such as tapping the “+” button at the top of the Shopping->All Shopping Items view? (which brings up the shopping item detail)
Once again we apologize and thank you in advance for your assistance.
Best Regards,
Team LightArrow
