is there a way to have this on my windows 8 pc I have it on my IPhone and use it and enjoy it I’d like to be able to use it on my pc as well with the ability to sync thanks
mark
Hi Jill,
Thanks for reaching out! We assume you installed our free mac app LifeTopix AirAccess on the Mac? If so, you can click on Spotlight search (the search icon on the top right of the Mac screen) and type in LifeTopix AirAccess to find it and run it. Once it runs, you can pin it to your dock by right-clicking on its icon on the dock and going to Options.
We hope that helps! Please let us know if you need anything else.

Thanks for your quick reply. I purchased the app on itunes yesterday on my ipad. Wanted to start using it across all my ios. It did not download properly to my Mac. I can not find it and the app store will not let me re-down load it. This is the perfect app I have been looking for and want to start using it asap.
Hi — I use different calendars to separate family tasks/events/appointments, etc… from work. If I put an event/appointment/task on the “family” calendar on my iPhone, it syncs with Google calendar through Exchange and downloads to my wife’s iPhone so that our family is in sync. If I schedule a work event/appointment/task, it does not sync with Google calendar since my wife doesn’t care about my work tasks, etc… Is there an easy way to assign a calendar as I am creating the event/appointment/task ? I know I can assign a default calendar at the system level, but this work around is too cumbersome, as I use 8 different calendars. I think this app has a ton of potential and I would love to use it, but this one calendar issue is preventing me from using this app.
Hi Phillip,
Thank you for reaching out!
This is a popular request, and we plan to support individual items to be associated specific device calendars. We hope to get this feature done in the near future.
Team LightArrow
Awesome to see the app coming along so well! Also, from reading these comments there are many more good things in store (i like the PC access data entry idea!). My feedback was to encourage you to create a month view in the calendar that is more ‘outlook’ in appearance or gasp, dare I say it — like the pi pro one wherein I can see the months busy days and quieter days at a glance and add a task or event to a specific day from that month view. Thank you.
Hi Neil,
Thanks so much! We’ll continue to improve the calendar views, and come up with something like you suggest (a snapshot view of busy slots).
Best,
Team LightArrow
I love The application. I have 3 apple devices and on my phone I cannot get the iCloud sync to work

Hi Mike — there’s an issue with apps like ours that use a relational database and iCloud Sync right now. We are redoing our sync in 6.0 *end of this month) to give you the choice of using Dropbox, Google Drive, or iCloud. We cannot recommend the current iCloud Sync due to the issues affecting multiple apps. For now, please use our Dropbox backup/restore approach to keep the same data on devices, and it’ll be resolved with 6.0. Hello… I am finally getting the hang of using Lifetopix, and I love it! The only issue I am having now regards the contacts. Is there a place I can click on to show all of my contacts in one place within the Lifetopix app just like I can with bookmarks? I don’t like the ipad’s native contact app and I try to avoid it. It would be great if I could access addresses and phone numbers (contacts) in the far left column. Is there another place within the app and I am just missing it? If this is something I need to set up within a category, how would I go about it? Thank you for your patience with me while I am learning how to use Lifetopix
Thank you for for reaching out to us with your question. We are always glad to help.
You can view all the people (contacts) in LifeTopix by going to the “People + Services” topic then tapping on “People in LifeTopix”.
This view is the list of people you have added to LifeTopix. When you add a person you have the option of assigning a device contact to that user. When you do assign a device contact to a LifeTopix person the contact’s information (e.g. phone, email) are presented with the person details.
You can also view a list of people by taping on the arrow icon at the bottom left of the dashboard screen (main screen) then tap on the search by type icon (eye icon). Choose the type person by tapping on “Person”. You will see the list of people in LifeTopix. You can tap the green down arrow icon to the right of the person to view some action you can make on the person. For example, you could call the person or email them.
Just bought the app from I tunes and love the concept but just have a few issues I need help with. How can I delete an event or appointment. Can I color code my appointments like personal and business?
Thanks
Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.
To delete an event or an appointment simply tap on the event or appointment to open its detail view. From the detail view you can delete the item by tapping the delete button (trash icon) located towards the bottom right. You can also typically delete an item by swiping to delete from most views.
Currently LifeTopix does not support color coding of appointments however we plan to add type and status, etc to appointments which would allow for color coding by type in the future.
You may consider adding web server feature to lifetopix that we can connect from any computer(or any browser enabled device) within the network to add tasks, appointments, etc. No need for platform specific apps, fast and reliable.
Hey, it would be convenient if you could long tap an item in Recent to put it in the Hot List instead of searching for it in the Topic it’s under. Actually doing the same thing in search results would be helpful too.
i’ve been looking for a “seamless” and “intergrated” apps to manage my life and life topix is the answer. It would be THE apps if:
1. Flexibility — user can add link between the topix freely. Eg, i want to link my shopping list to my expenses, where the “bought” items price are updated in the expenses in finance topix(doesn’t it make perfect sense — shopping cost money?), and also to task (it is a task to do shopping), where i can add a task to do shopping then add the list straight away… or, adding a shopping list from my home/kitchen inventory, then it is updated as a task to be done.
2. Shopping topix (the one i used most now) — it would be great if it has an “archive” feature. For example, i add an apple to my shopping list, once i bought it, it will record that i have bought an apple today. then say next week i need to buy an apple, i add it again to my shopping list. at the end of the month i could retrieve the data and see how many apples i have bought for the month/ for the week or better, i can also see how much i have incurred for the month to buy apples. it would be awesome if i can analyse this info from the expenses topix too, without having to enter the information separately from finance topix.
3. mommy friendly — mommy = meals. life topix would be perfect if i can use it to plan the family meal as well. Currently i’m using “mealboard” apps to do that. i’m hoping either life topix would allow me to import the grocery list generated from mealboard or have something quite similar to that (function: store recipe, plan meal, generate shopping list from the recipe and meal planned) in life topix itself. link this to the nutrition log/shopping and expenses then it will be splendid. An import recipe function from websites would make it great. again, i would love it if i could retrieve information of what was served for the week/ month/day. it would be a dream come true if the data are then intergrated with inventory/shopping/expenses. Eg. i bought 2 apples (update expense and inventory), used an apple for today’s meal (update inventory/nutrition log). then, from my meal plan i need another 3 apples for this week meal, (retrieve data from my inventory that i have another apple left, update my shopping list that i need to buy 2 more apples, retrieve data of the last purchased apple cost, generate a shopping budget).
4. Family friendly — i hope in future, i can add family member to my life topix. Eg under education, include in my daughter class schedule, update thier medication/ immunization/vaccination under health and fitness, schedule her pead appointment. and after all that, generate a view from calendar to see the activities of all family member (color coded)/ any 1 single family member. so that from 1 view i can see what everyone else is doing and it would be much easier to plan activities to fit everyone’s schedule. of course it would be super useful if i can share all this information with my family member. a “shared account” would be useful too, where family members can add in thier to do/ task/ appointment from their own device and the “family account” is updated.
5. Recurring entry — house chores are repetitive. currently life topix only allow 12 repetition. I need more. Some tasks need to be performed weekly/daily/alternate days. And,of course task and chores would need to be assigned to someone — a reminder to that particular family member assigned to the task would be great too.
6. Last but not least — teach Siri to use this apps.
Hi yati83,
Thanks so much for the these thoughtful suggestions and the kind words!
We’d love to make LifeTopix the app of choice for our users, and you’ll be glad to know that some of the items are already in progress in R&D! We hope to deliver features that accomplish some of these things over the next few updates. As as make progress, we might reach out to you to run our approach by you, especially family friendly aspects.
Best regards,

I am also seeking to use this app as my home management app (mommy duties). I have recently decided to create a project for each family member and add items specific to them to it such as notes, appts, shopping items, tasks, etc. It is a way of pulling together activities related to each person. So far so good. Another idea is to set a context for each family member—that option allows for association of more than one family member to an item.
Suggestion for LT: Smart Groups — Allow a search by a specific criteria to be saved as a folder. Everything I enter with the specific criteria (i.e. context of Honey Do) would show up in that folder whether it be an appt, event, shopping, etc.
Thanks again, Betty, for a great suggestion! We have been considering folders as a way of grouping a mixed bag of related items. We are working on a way to do that by building on top of contexts and categories.
Best regards,
Team LightArrow
As with other users, I am very much a list person and very structured with tasks, calendars, notes, etc. I have been using personal organizers since the Sharp Wizard if you remember that one! I have downloaded, used, and tested many of the popular GTD apps available. I must say that with LifeTopix you are on the best track I have seen!! Here are some questions/suggestions: (1) Please make an actual PC& Mac application beyond airaccess that does not require an active connection to the iPad/iPhone or .… perhaps just make a web tool much like ToodleDo .… I would subscribe and pay for sure! (2) I do not see a week view under My Calendar — that would be helpful. (3) Need a way of picking a day/date for a task without assigning a time. (4) The sync with Toodledo and Evernote should be completely automatic without any user intervention. Hope this is helpful. I will post more later .…. I am looking forward to new updates with GREATANTICIPATION .… Fantastic App !!!!!!
Hi Don,
Thanks for the very encouraging words, and for the great suggestions! We thrive on feature recommendations from savvy users like you. We have already begun the technical work for a full-fledged app on the Mac and Windows, but have not made enough progress for a target timeframe. The features you’ve suggested for LifeTopix itself are amongst things we hope to deliver these in some form or another in the next few updates after we deliver 5.0 within a few days.
Again, thanks so much!
Best regards,
Team LightArrow
Hi folks, I just have to say how impressed I am with with this app and its ongoing development. I am a list/organization junkie. I’ve tried app after app and this one seems to be closest to perfection for me. The weekly view and plans for PC “Airaccess” you have coming up will make it even better!
LOL I should probably make a checklist of questions I have for you folks, but one item stands out that might be a nice addtion, if it isn’t possible already. Is there any way to set a reminder for a task? I see that I can do this for projects, but I have lots of tasks that are time specific and if I don’t have my phone beeping at me, I often forget to do them in a timely manner.
I am on the edge of my seat waiting for your next update as it seems you just keep making this app better and better! Being able to import Toodledo and Evernote is outstanding.
Keep up the good work LightArrow, it is VERY much appreciated!
Thanks, Linda!
Adding reminders to tasks is something we’ve been asked for from other users as well, and we plan to support it in 5.1 (5.0 is due out in a couple of weeks), sometime by mid-September. 5.0 is a fairly significant release and we are wrapping it up — we plan to share a sneak peek in the next couple of days or so with our users.
We continue to be inspired by users like you!

Any update for an Android version yet? The last query about Android was over 2 1/2 months ago on 6 March. Any word on progress being made would be much appreciated!
Thanks…
ForexJeff
Hi ForexJeff,
Thank you for the follow up! Since our last update we have started the technical work, but because of the significant difference in technologies, we are not in a position to have a target date yet. At this point we are targeting Android 2.3.x (Gingerbread) as the platform and we hope to have more news by this summer.
Best regards,
Team LightArrow
Hi Tina,
Our work on Android has been slower than we had hoped, as recently almost all of our efforts have been for our 5.0 release which has an exciting new interface, expected to be available later this month. Our Android will be based on the same interface, so we have delayed resumption on Android that work until 5.0 is solid.
Best regards,
Team LightArrow
This is a great looking app and almost makes me want to buy an iPhone. Unfortunately I’m stuck in the Android world. I would like to see an Android version of this app on the market.
Thanks so much for the shout out about Evernote — that’s been getting a very enthusiastic reception from a lot of our users.
As for Toodledo support, as you may have noticed on our roadmap, our next release will contain further 3rd party integration, especially in the tasks area. Toodledo is one of those we are investigating. Please stay tuned to our roadmap for further developments as our investigation and development work progresses.
Hi Philip,
Thanks for the question and kind words. We agree! Evernote (we are big fans) integration is in testing in our 4.0 release, due out in a week or two. Toodledo (and Google Tasks) is also planned for a release soon thereafter. Integrations to popular online services across the topics we address are a key part of our app strategy.
Best regards,
Team LightArrow
It depends on what you mean by “modify”. Our 3.0 release in October delivered the current dashboard functionality. You can customize the dashboard to hide topics that you do not wish to see. To do this, tap on the wrench icon in the upper right of the LifeTopix topic panel.
As far as being able to add to the 12 topics, we do not currently support this functionality. However, we are intrigued by this question. Please contact us directly via our support link — we would like to establish a more interactive dialog with you on this idea so we can learn more about your thoughts and requirements.
Hi Marco,
We do plan to provide AirAccess for Windows in the future. Our plan is to collect feedback on the Mac version, then do other versions after we have more robustness in our approach. Thanks so much for the question.
Team LightArrow
Looks great so far. I’m all Mac at home yet all PC/Microsoft at work. Is there anyway to sync with Microsoft Outlook Tasks? In fact I use Office for Mac at home as well. I know many folks that use Office in the office yet have iPhones & IPads and cannot sync their Tasks. Thanks for your direction.
Hi Kenyatta,
Thanks for the compliments and your question.
LifeTopix items can show up on Outlook’s calendar, but as calendar events, not as tasks. More details at: http://lightarrow.com/lifetopix/common-questions/lifetopix-data-on-other-calendars
We are going to look into integrating with Outlook tasks in the future. We’ll most likely integrate with Google Tasks before that.

Have been looking for something like this. Thanks. Hope it works like I think it would.
Do I need to pay twice? Sure hope not.
Paid for the app on iPad2. Download and created a few itms in LifeTopix. Setup online folder with Dropbox. When I go to iPhone4, could not see anything in the Dropbox.
What do I need to do?
Hi Amy,
Thanks for your question. You are correct, one purchase allows it to be installed on your iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. When you get it from the app store logged in as the same user from the other devices, the app store does not charge you again.
We currently have a “non-ideal” way of keeping LifeTopix data in sync on the iPad and iPhone: http://lightarrow.com/lifetopix/common-questions/q-how-can-i-sync-lifetopix-data-across-my-iphone-and-ipad
We are working on making it more seamless (we plan to take advantage of iCloud after it is publicly available, as well as do direct syncing between devices using Apple’s Bonjour technology). We’ll share more on this on over time at: http://lightarrow.com/lifetopix/roadmap
We look forward to making LifeTopix your most useful and favorite app with feedback from users like you. We are truly excited about what we have ventured to do with the app! Thanks so much for your support.
Best regards,
Team LightArrow
Hi Steve,
Thanks for your question! We are working on a Mac client for LifeTopix, targeted for release in September. The Mac client can access LifeTopix on the iPad/iPhone/iPod touch for viewing, editing and adding data. In other words, with LifeTopix running on your “iDevice”, you can access its data via a Mac (including MacBook Air) for easier data entry and update. We are very excited about this as many of our users have requested for this feature. We hope this helps with what you are looking for.
Best regards,
Team LightArrow
I read every features on LifeTopix, however, I could not find anything about password protection. Please advise if there is password protection before accessing info.
Hi Magnus,
Access to the LifeTopix app itself can be configured to be controlled via a passcode setting: this is covered in Settings and Getting Started sections of Online Help. You can search for passcode on our website to see these pages directly.
Also, we hide sensitive data, specifically online access passwords stored in bookmarks with a PIN. You can use PIN to search for that on our website.
We hope that answers your questions.
Best regards,
Team LightArrow
Thanks for your question. We have indeed thought about creating an Android version down the road, but we don’t have an estimated timeframe for that yet. As you know, both the marketplace and the underlying technology for Android apps are quite different from Apple’s App Store and underlying technology. Therefore, we have to sort through all that, all while maintaining the very fast pace we have been on for all the features we have been developing (and have planned!) for the product.
For sure, we will announce those plans with great fanfare on our roadmap once we do reach the point where we have nailed down a timeframe.

Hi Jill,
Thanks for reaching out!

On your Mac, did you try to download LifeTopix AirAccess from https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/lifetopix-airaccess/id470933948?mt=12 ?
When you go there, does it say Installed? If so, can you look for it in Spotlight?

Here are some questions/suggestions: (1) Please make an actual PC & Mac application beyond airaccess that does not require an active connection to the iPad/iPhone or .… perhaps just make a web tool much like ToodleDo .… I would subscribe and pay for sure! (2) I do not see a week view under My Calendar — that would be helpful. (3) Need a way of picking a day/date for a task without assigning a time. (4) The sync with Toodledo and Evernote should be completely automatic without any user intervention. Hope this is helpful. I will post more later .…. I am looking forward to new updates with GREAT ANTICIPATION .… Fantastic App !!!!!!

Hi Don,
Thanks for the very encouraging words, and for the great suggestions!

Linda

Thanks, Linda!
Adding reminders to tasks is something we’ve been asked for from other users as well, and we plan to support it in 5.1 (5.0 is due out in a couple of weeks), sometime by mid-September. 5.0 is a fairly significant release and we are wrapping it up — we plan to share a sneak peek in the next couple of days or so with our users.
We continue to be inspired by users like you!

Any update for an Android version yet? The last query about Android was over 2 1/2 months ago on 6 March. Any word on progress being made would be much appreciated!
Thanks…
ForexJeff
LightArrow
Hi ForexJeff,
Thank you for the follow up! Since our last update we have started the technical work, but because of the significant difference in technologies, we are not in a position to have a target date yet. At this point we are targeting Android 2.3.x (Gingerbread) as the platform and we hope to have more news by this summer.
Best regards,

Any more news on an Android app? Would love to use this on my Droid!
LightArrow
Hi Tina,
Our work on Android has been slower than we had hoped, as recently almost all of our efforts have been for our 5.0 release which has an exciting new interface, expected to be available later this month. Our Android will be based on the same interface, so we have delayed resumption on Android that work until 5.0 is solid.

This is a great looking app and almost makes me want to buy an iPhone. Unfortunately I’m stuck in the Android world. I would like to see an Android version of this app on the market.
LightArrow
Thank you, Rick! We’ll do our best to bring the Android version of LifeTopix to the market.

Any word on Toodle support? I’d like it both for tasks and notes. Really appreciate the Evernote support in 4.0.
LifeTopix Support
Hi Allison,
Thanks so much for the shout out about Evernote — that’s been getting a very enthusiastic reception from a lot of our users.
As for Toodledo support, as you may have noticed on our roadmap, our next release will contain further 3rd party integration, especially in the tasks area. Toodledo is one of those we are investigating. Please stay tuned to our roadmap for further developments as our investigation and development work progresses.
Best regards,
Team LightArrow.

What about Toodledo integration?
And with Evernote?
Integration si other services would make this go from good to GREAT!
LifeTopix Support
Hi Philip,
Thanks for the question and kind words. We agree! Evernote (we are big fans) integration is in testing in our 4.0 release, due out in a week or two. Toodledo (and Google Tasks) is also planned for a release soon thereafter. Integrations to popular online services across the topics we address are a key part of our app strategy.

Verch
Hi! Can we modify the 12 life topix? Can we add to the 12?
LifeTopix Support
Hi Verch,
It depends on what you mean by “modify”.
Best regards,
Team LightArrow.

What about windows users? Air access will be avaiable to?
Good job.
LifeTopix Support
Hi Marco,
We do plan to provide AirAccess for Windows in the future. Our plan is to collect feedback on the Mac version, then do other versions after we have more robustness in our approach. Thanks so much for the question.

Kenyatta
Hello,
Looks great so far.
LifeTopix Support

LifeTopix Support
Hi Amy,
Thanks for your question.
Steve O'Brien
Hi, Will this be avail for Macbook Air?
Thx
LifeTopix Support
Hi Steve,
Thanks for your question!
Magnus
Hi There:
I read every features on LifeTopix, however, I could not find anything about password protection. Please advise if there is password protection before accessing info.
Thanks
LifeTopix Support
Hi Magnus,
Access to the LifeTopix app itself can be configured to be controlled via a passcode setting: this is covered in Settings and Getting Started sections of Online Help. You can search for passcode on our website to see these pages directly.
Also, we hide sensitive data, specifically online access passwords stored in bookmarks with a PIN. You can use PIN to search for that on our website.
We hope that answers your questions.
Best regards,
Team LightArrow

Are you planning to create an Android version of Life Topix?
LifeTopix Support
Hi Kim,
Thanks for your question.
Best regards,
Team LightArrow
