WHAT CAN I DO HERE?

The Bookmarks + Lockers topic enables you to manage all your web bookmarks, credentials for online services, and other secret data such as PIN numbers, credit card numbers, photos of personal information, and recordings of personal information. For example, if you use websites that require a login and password, you can securely store that information through Bookmarks. In addition, if you have multiple PINs that you’re required to remember or you would like to take photos of your credit cards for safekeeping, you can utilize Lockers to manage those items. Imagine you’re traveling and your wallet is stolen. Through your LightArrow app on your device, you can find all the information for your credit cards, and you can immediately call your credit card companies to communicate the information for cancellations.

Keep in mind, your data is always stored only on your device, unless you choose to use Cloud sync via Dropbox, Box, or other cloud services. In addition,  your LightArrow secret data is secure with military grade 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption. The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is one of the most commonly used and secure encryption algorithms available today.

GLOSSARY OF TERMS

Bookmarks: Bookmarks allow you to save the address (URL) of a website or web page so that you can easily re-visit the page at a later time. In your LightArrow app, bookmarks also allow you to manage usernames and passwords for sites that require this information, such as sites for banking, shopping, and others. This way, you don’t have to memorize a variety of passwords.

Lockers: Lockers allow you to save secret information for any information you wish to secure. Lockers support securing of text, photos, and audio. Common uses include storing of photos of credit cards, photos of passports, photos of secret receipts, sensitive audio files, and PINs.

Online Services: “Online services” are internet-related products or labor you receive from companies, organizations, or individuals. Web hosting, internet access, and photo sharing are all examples of online services.

Services: Work or help that you receive from others such as personal care, auto care, home maintenance, contract work, etc.

TOUCHPOINTS

Touchpoints allow relevant information to be shared seamlessly between Bookmarks and the People + Services topic. For example, you can define access information for services such as your electric utility account directly in People + Services. Via the touchpoint to that topic, the information is also accessible from Bookmarks. Or, you could define the billing and payment website for your ISP account directly in Bookmarks and, via the touchpoint to that topic, the information is also accessible from People + Services. Online Services is a touchpoint to the Online Services category in the People + Services topic. This means that online services defined here will appear as services in the Online Services category in the People + Services topic.

CATEGORIES FOR BOOKMARKS + LOCKERS

Categories are available for use with bookmarks. You can create, modify, hide, or delete categories via Settings. When a bookmark category is deleted, it is completely removed from your LightArrow app. When a bookmark category is hidden, it no longer appears in the Categories for Bookmarks section, but it remains defined and is still available in the category list when you are defining a new bookmark. Note that bookmark categories that are in use or serve as touchpoints to another topic cannot be deleted or hidden.
