Shortcuts to an Organized Life.

WHAT CAN I DO HERE?

The Health + Goals topic is ideal for managing your goals and visualizing the results for health, fitness, business, or well being. You may wish to manage your life or business goals, such as “Buy a House,” “Finish a Triathlon,” or “Exceed Last Quarter’s Sales by 10%.” Or, you might be a business person or small business owner (such as a personal trainer) who wants to manage metrics for their clients or employees. This is precisely what Health + Goals allows you to do — set goals and see the progress in a graphical format for one or more persons. When you define your goals in your LightArrow app, you can record all the activities that need to be completed in order to reach those goals through tasks. In addition, you can add items such as notes or files as reference material; photos or videos of progress; expenses, such as for class instruction; and shopping items, such as equipment that’s necessary.

You may also wish to maintain a solid understanding of your health; stay focused on your exercise and nutrition goals; as well as track general activities. Your app provides you with a single source for recording all your health, fitness, and life goals; health statistics such as weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, and body fat; your medications and prescriptions; and your health history such as procedures, treatments, and wellness.

Your app provides robust logging capabilities so you can track your goal metrics, your food and drink intake, your workout activities, your insurance providers, and regular health checkups. Useful charts with metrics let you see trends and view progress. Smart integration with other topics means that as you are entering information for a health procedure you can enter associated tasks, shopping items, and providers and that information will show up automatically in the Tasks + Projects and People + Services topics.

GLOSSARY OF TERMS

Goals: Goals are items you wish to reach, such as buying a new house, losing 10 pounds, getting in shape, or learning a new skill. You can log metrics for goals and view your progress in a graphical format.

Goal Log Items: These are the user-defined metrics that you assign to goals (such as sales goals, weight, height, etc.)

Log Form: These forms allow you to record entries for items in a log. For example, you can track your weight, exercise, blood pressure, or other statistics.

Multi-Topic Log Form: These forms allow you to record entries for items in more than one log. For example, you can track your weight and your exercise in the same log form. This allows the information that you log to be graphed together so that you can more easily see any correlation or trends that might exist.

Health Projects: Health-related work items that you wish to accomplish. Losing some weight, training for a triathlon, and having your hip replaced are all examples of health projects.

Healthcare Providers: Companies, organizations, or individuals from whom you receive health-related products or labor. Your dentist, doctor, and local hospital are all examples of healthcare providers.

Health Services: Health-related products or labor you receive from companies, organizations, or individuals. An annual physical from your doctor and your membership at the local gym are examples of health services.

TOUCHPOINTS

Touchpoints allow relevant information to be shared seamlessly between Health + Goals,  the Tasks + Projects, and People + Services topics. For example, imagine you have a goal to get in shape. You can define the goal in Health + Goals, complete with all relevant information such as appointments, reminders, tasks to sign up for a gym membership and to buy healthy food, the shopping list of the food to buy, bookmarks to your favorite exercise web sites, and so on, and that information will automatically show up in Tasks + Projects. Or, you could identify an entry in your device’s Contacts as your primary care physician either from Health Projects in Health + Goals or from Service Providers in People + Services. You can then access this information from either place.

CATEGORIES FOR HEALTHGOALS

Categories are available for use with Health + Goals. You can create, modify, hide, or delete categories via Settings or directly from a tile for a Health Project, Service, or Service Provider. When a category is deleted, it is completely removed from your app. When a category is hidden, it no longer appears in the Categories tile, but it remains defined, and is still available in the category list when you are defining a new Health Project, Service, or Service Provider. Note that categories that are in use or serve as touchpoints to another topic cannot be deleted or hidden. For information about creating categories, refer to your help for Manage Categories.

ALERTS

Alerts display at the top of the Health + Goals view for anything related to health projects and health services/service providers that are due within the next five days or currently overdue. For example, if you’ve set a reminder to set up a yearly physical, an alert shows.

    Hi,
I found your product yesterday and I am so pleased (though my head is reeling a bit, trying to sort out all the functionalities!). There’s one that seems as if it should be doable but I can’t figure it out. Is there a way of linking some of the pre existing health logs to the goals section?. Specifically, I am training for a race and would like to only enter miles run in one place. I can’t seem to link the pre existing running log or my weight log to the goal. Do I have to set up separate “goal logs” for this? Thanks for the help.

      Hi Audrey,

Thank you for reaching out to us, and for your kind words.

As you have pointed out, our app currently supports adding only new log items to goals.
We will look into supporting the ability to add existing log items to a goal in a future update.

Please note that all the individual log items currently support a target (goal) value. Goals were designed for slightly different purpose. However, it now makes sense for supporting pre-existing log items.

Should you have any further questions or suggestions, do not hesitate to contact us again.

      Best Regards,

First off I’d like to say THANK YOU! My search is Finally over! Thanks for putting out such a fantastic personal organization app, the thought and detail that have gone into this is truly amazing.

SecondlY, I also a feature request — I would really like the ability to run reports. for example, say I’ve been tracking my wellness, logging when I have back pain, etc. At some point I have a doctor appointment… I would love to be able to run a report on all my wellness logs and export it out to something ( like PDF or CSV/excel, and a print out ) file so I can take this with me to the doctor so she could look for trends or progress. I would definitely pay extra as an in-app purchase feature for this. Same with the projects, the ability to run a report and print it out and/or export the tasks and due dates to a csv file would be awesome, and again I would gladly pay extra for this feature.

Thanks again for all your great work! I keep find more and more features within the app as I look around!

      Hi Colleen,

Thank you very much for the kind words and for reaching out to us.

We are currently looking in to improving the reporting capabilities of our apps in various areas, especially in the Health + Goals and Projects + Tasks areas.

It is possible to track and view your activities in a graphical manner (using Plots or Bar Charts or Line Graphs). You can either see them all plotted together in one chart/graph in the log form view or plotted individually as separate graphs (in the individual health metrics).

Also, you can export all of your individual log entries for each of the metrics (for e.g.., “Pain : Backache” under “Wellness logs”) to a CSV file using the following steps: My Topics –> Health + Goals –> Wellness –> Pain: Backache –> Configure –> Export.

Note that you can also export all tasks in a Project/Trip/Event, etc. in to a CSV file.
Assuming you have the latest version of LifeTopix, go to the Project/Trip/Event detail view and tap on the “Actions” button (the last button in the row of buttons near the top) and select Export.

Should you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us again.
