Modern Dashboard Overview

LightArrow’s new “Modern Dashboard” has been designed to present important information in a natural and easy to use way.  The modern dashboard is comprised of “Dashboard Cards” that present information relevant to the topic of the card.

Existing LifeTopix users: Tap here for more information on how to enable the “Modern Dashboard”.

The cards on iOS can be reordered by tapping on the LightArrow icon on the bottom right and choosing “Configure Dashboard”.

There are 13 cards on iOS only. On the Mac some views are not available as dashboard cards but are available as main views instead.

Most dashboard cards support a “Narrow” and “Card” mode.  The “Narrow” mode presents the dashboard card with only the card icon and title displayed in a narrow format.  Tapping anywhere on the dashboard card when in the “Narrow” mode will result in the card transitioning to the “Card”mode.

To return to the “Narrow” mode from the “Card” mode simply tap on the narrow mode icon.

The Help Center card is the exception and does not have a “Narrow” mode. Some cards, such as Calendar, Contacts, Productivity, etc., support a powerful  “Primary Topic View” mode where when expanded the primary items for the topic are presented.  For the Calendar card the Primary Topic Mode presents the calendar views supported.  For the Contacts card the Primary Topic Mode presents the Alerts, Recently Updated and topic related tiles for the “Contacts + Services” topic. For the Productivity card the Primary Topic Mode presents the Alerts, Recently Updated and topic related tiles for the “Task + Projects” topic.  These are just a few examples of cards that support the “Primary Topic View”. To transition a card to the “Primary Topic View” mode simply tap on the icon located at the top center of the card displaying a topic icon with a circle border.
Here you can see the “Primary Topic View” mode of the “Calendar” card.
