NOTE: This help page applies to both LifeTopix (and other classic LightArrow apps) as well as to LightArrow Organizer for iOS and Mac. So, the screenshots and directions may vary slightly based on the app you’re using.

With your LightArrow app, you can create reminders when you wish to be reminded of something at a particular date and time. These reminders can be associated with your device’s calendar, which is specified in My Settings. Through your device’s calendar, you’ll receive local notifications for these reminders. You can also set the timing for the reminder by choosing it from My Settings. Your LightArrow reminders should not be confused with iOS reminders, which are reminders that work with your iOS Reminders built-in app. You can learn more about iOS Reminders in Events + Appointments.

You can manage reminders in several areas of your LightArrow app. The following procedure describes how to create reminders via Quick Add.

How to create reminders:

  1. From the Quick Add menu (bottom left of all main views), tap the plus sign.
  2. Choose Reminder.
  3. Add a name for the reminder and a time. If you wish to add context tags or change the iOS calendar, tap Full Details. Otherwise, tap Save.
  4. Optionally, tap the Context Tags tile to add context tags.
  5. Optionally associate the reminder with a topic in your app by tapping the Associated Topic tile, tapping Associate, and then choosing a topic.
  6. Optionally, tap the iOS Calendar tile to change the iOS calendar associated with the reminder and choose Specify iOS Calendar. Choose the Calendar and tap Set.
  7. Tap Save.

How to edit or delete reminders:

  1. Locate the reminder in the LightArrow app general calendar, event calendar, or by searching for it.
  2. To remove the reminder, tap the reminder and then tap Delete (it is also removed from your device’s calendar).
