WHAT CAN I DO HERE?

NOTE: This help page applies to both LifeTopix (and other classic LightArrow apps) as well as to LightArrow Organizer for iOS and Mac. So, the screenshots and directions may vary slightly based on the app you’re using.

In your LightArrow app, you can manage Services, which are products or labor you receive from companies, organizations, or individuals. Household utilities, yoga instruction, lawn care, and newspaper subscriptions are all examples of services. You can sort the list of services by tapping the Services tile. This view shows you, at-a-glance, all the services that are defined. Preset services are initially shown that you’re welcome to edit or remove. If you have created services, each of those and all the preset services are listed, sorted alphabetically by default. You can decide how the services are viewed (such as by Category, Last Updated, etc.) by using the menu in the upper left.

You can view and create services in many areas of your LightArrow app, including:

  • Travel + Places: Tap the Travel Services tile and then tap the plus sign.
  • Contacts + Services: Tap the Services tile and then tap the plus sign.
  • Health + Goals: Tap the Health Services tile (iPad) or tap Multiple Touchpoints (iPhone/iPod touch), and then tap Health Services.
  • Assets: Tap the Assets Services tile and then tap the plus sign.
  • Media: Tap the Media Services tile and then tap the plus sign.

SERVICES VIEW

Your LightArrow app includes common services, which you can modify or remove. A method for sorting the services is included in the upper-left of the view (sort by all, category, starts, last updated, context tags, or associations). You can manage these services in the Services view, which is available from these areas of the app:

  • Travel + Places: Travel Services tile.
  • Contacts + Services: Services tile.
  • Health + Goals: Tap the Health Services tile (iPad) or tap Multiple Touchpoints (iPhone/iPod touch), and then tap Health Services.
  • Assets: Assets Services tile
  • Media: Media Services tile

MANAGING SERVICES

How to add services:

Your LightArrow app includes common services, such as home insurance, etc., which you can modify or remove. You can add new services by following the procedure below:

  1. In the Contacts + Services topic, tap the plus sign and then choose Service.
  2. Add a name for a service and the date and click Save.
  3. Optionally, Tap Full Details to add all the details, such as the start and end date, the provider, context tags, payment, online access and associated topics. In some cases, the category is added by default.
  4. Tap Save.

How to modify services:

  1. Locate the service you wish to change, and tap Open.
  2. Tap the tile for the item you wish to modify (Date, Service Provider, Categories, Context Tags, Associated Topic, Payment, or Online Access).
  3. Complete the information as directed.
  4. Tap Save.

How to delete services:

  1. Locate the service you wish to delete and tap it.
  2. Tap Delete.

If you wish to associate items (such as tasks, appointments, reminders, etc.) with services, refer to Contacts + Services.
